Arriving in Las Vegas Wedsday morning Oct. 17th, 2000.

Catherine was to perform on Friday. The Competion had begun on Monday. The Female Teen division entry's were higher than any other years. Girls were in, & coming in from all over the United States. After, the long flight, & checking in it was time to see what was happening.

Catherine went down to watch some of the girls, it was evident the pressure was on. The Competition was tough, and Catherine knew it. She also apreciated a lot of good talent. The next day we all traveled down and visited with all our friends, and enjoyed a great day & evening of entertainment.

Catherine awoke the next morning, and said I'm going down to watch all my competition. Mom said, No your not, Catherine with a surprised look said; I'm not? Then Mom said no how about a massage instead! Off they went and had a great Day! When it came time for Catherine to go up she was relaxed and ready.

Once again, Moms are usually right!

By the way, LeAnn Rimes & Catherine won & have the same awards. Good Job Cath!
